Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of PLC programming in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, schematics and control narratives.

Responsibilities

• Modify/write PLC/HMI/other system programs.
• Update/create electrical schematics and P&ID drawings.
• Determine requirements for new equipment/systems.
• Install and commission automation on existing equipment; coordinate installations.
• Perform testing, validation, and documentation for new systems.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Identify obsolete components and manage replacements with available parts.
• Source quotes for parts or services and manage contractor coordination.
• Ensure device communications on the machine ethernet network.
