Job summary

Rockline Industries is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer I for our main plant in Sheboygan, WI. You will design and develop electrical controls for manufacturing equipment, supporting reliability, safety, and process improvements.

The role covers PLC/HMI programming, schematic updates, and overseeing new automation installations, with responsibilities spanning from testing to root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years PLC programming in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Modify/write PLC/HMI/other system programs.
• Update electrical schematics and P&IDs as needed.
• Determine requirements for new equipment/systems.
• Install and commission new automation on existing equipment and coordinate installation.
• Perform testing and validation and complete required paperwork.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee spare parts and component replacements.
• Coordinate work for contractors and services.
• Support machine ethernet network communications.
