Job summary

Astera Labs seeks a hands-on Tech Lead Automation Engineer to own internal automation platforms end-to-end and ship full-stack features. You'll design data models, RBAC, and admin workflows, while integrating SaaS and cloud APIs.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science with 7+ years of software experience.
Ownership of a production web app end-to-end: backend, DB design, and frontend work.
Experience with enterprise SaaS APIs and cloud infrastructure APIs.
Knowledge of identity management and RBAC.
Experience designing systems of record or asset-tracking tools.
Fluency with AI-assisted coding tools as part of daily workflow.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of internal automation platforms end-to-end: architecture, data model, scheduling, roadmap.
Design and ship full-stack features: backend services, RBAC, workflows, and UI.
Maintain integrations with SaaS APIs, cloud infra, and directory services.
Build new operational systems and dashboards for asset tracking and usage insights.
