Job summary

Astreya is seeking an automation and data engineering professional to design workflows, build ETL pipelines, and automate operational tasks from Denver. You will develop scalable tools to onboard partners, manage data, and monitor system health, contributing to an enterprise-wide automation initiative.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in automation or data engineering.
• Proficient in Python.
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Strong SQL and data pipeline concepts.
• Familiar with job scheduling/orchestration tools.
• Experience with large datasets from multiple sources.
• Strong problem solving and ability to work independently.
• Nice to have PHP or Hack, graph databases, CRM/MDM.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated workflows for partner onboarding, contact updates, service renewals, and data lifecycle management.
• Create self-service tools for bulk data operations without engineering support.
• Build automated alerting for stale data, missing information, or expiring service agreements.
• Build ETL pipelines that synchronize partner data across internal systems.
• Automate migration of legacy data into the centralized platform.
• Develop reconciliation scripts to detect discrepancies between systems.
• Build tools to auto-retrieve relevant partner contacts during network incidents.
• Create automated escalation and outreach workflows triggered by network events.
• Develop runbook automation to speed up repetitive tasks.
• Build dashboards tracking data quality, freshness, and platform adoption.
• Implement automated health checks and audit scripts to detect duplicates.
• Create scheduled leadership reports on automation ROI and data integrity.
