Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years inpatient pharmacy technician experience or 2 years as a tech in other settings.
• Experience with automated dispensing systems preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work designated shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations in automation and information services.
• Serve as liaison with Nursing Management to monitor medication discrepancies.
• Maintain user IDs for automated dispensing systems and related software.
• Prepare training materials and assist in staff training.
• Support scheduling and back-up for commodities specialists.
