Job summary

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an Operations Engineer on the OIE team to bridge engineering and field operations across the Last‑mile network. You’ll travel ~80% to sites in North America, lead pilots, define operational standards, and drive readiness for launches with cross‑functional partners.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, field presence, and translating complex programs into clear guidance while expanding automation across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years using Microsoft Office products.
• 5+ years leading multiple large projects.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution through launch readiness and go-live.
• Experience with automated material handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pilot Planning: develop operational framework for new automation pilots, including training and success criteria.
• Operational Readiness & Expansion: lead on-site readiness and post-launch performance tracking across sites.
