Job summary

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an Operations Engineer for the Ops Integration Engineering team. The role focuses on operationally integrating new automation across the Last‑mile network, bridging engineering and field operations, and traveling extensively to sites across North America.

The ideal candidate will independently operate in the field, build relationships with site leadership, and translate complex programs into clear standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• 5+ years of directly managing and being responsible for multiple large projects experience
• 3+ years leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution through launch readiness and go-live phases experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment

Responsibilities

• Own the operational integration of new automation equipment and systems across Amazon’s Last‑mile Logistics Network.
• Develop the operational framework for new automation pilots, including training curricula and success criteria.
• Lead on-ground operational readiness for expansion, deliver pre-launch training, and track post-launch performance.
• Identify and elevate operational risks, adoption gaps, and process deficiencies that could impact program success.
