Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of building systems inside a client facility, focusing on material handling equipment and automated packaging and distribution equipment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, document routines, and collaborate with the client and operations team. The role requires safety focus and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance, repairs and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to MHE and related equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed.
