Job summary

JLL in Eagan, MN is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in MHE repair, and experience with predictive and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment.
2+ years of experience with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
Associates or higher degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred.
Experience with CMMS and reading electrical schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
Track and store department inventory.
Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
Possible travel up to 20%.
