Job summary

Silfex, a Lam Research Company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support manufacturing sites in Springfield, OH, and Eaton, OH. In this role, you will identify automation opportunities, improve cycle time and part quality, and lead reliability initiatives for new and existing equipment.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience. Strong knowledge of control systems technologies and CAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience; or 3 years with a Master's degree.
• Working knowledge of control systems technologies.
• CAD (2D & 3D) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement new automated systems and resolve technical issues.
• Develop reliability strategies for automated systems.
• Design automation-centric plant layouts and work cells.
