Job summary
Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company, in the United States, seeks a Supplier Development Reliability Engineer to drive reliability improvements across equipment, tooling, and processes. You will lead cross-functional teams, partner with suppliers and internal teams, and shape preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to boost uptime and reduce total cost of ownership.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline with 8+ years hands-on experience in manufacturing.
- 10+ years with custom machines, automation, or reliability-focused engineering.
- Strong knowledge of reliability tools (FMEA, MTBF, MTTR) and process control.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing budgets.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead reliability improvements for equipment, tooling, and processes.
- Develop maintenance strategies including preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve uptime.
- Oversee development cycles from concept to commissioning.
- Mentor engineers and designers.
