Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join our Greenville, SC facility. You will contribute to the design, development, and execution of innovative automation solutions that solve complex manufacturing challenges.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (or related), 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX or AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or an ABET/EAC-accredited associate's degree with relevant experience
• 3+ years of work experience as a Mechanical Engineer
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD)
• FE Exam or EIT desirable and strong engineering principles

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute innovative automation solutions for manufacturing challenges.
• Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques to conventional projects with limited complexity.
• Collaborate with teammates to review technical outputs and implement design/workflow improvements.
• Travel up to 25% (including overnight) as required for project execution and site work.
