Job summary

Direct Recruiters, Inc. in Mason, OH is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established automation and robotics company. You will design robotic automation, tooling, fixtures, and automated equipment using SolidWorks and lead mechanical aspects of projects.

You will collaborate with controls, electrical, programming and manufacturing teams, work with customers on requirements, and support fabrication, installation and commissioning on site.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Greater Cincinnati / Mason, OH Area
Work Arrangement: Primarily On-Site

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established industrial automation and robotics organization specializing in custom, turnkey automation solutions. This position will work on projects across automotive, food & beverage, consumer products, packaging, and general industrial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design custom robotic automation, material handling, assembly, and packaging systems using SolidWorks.




• Develop mechanical designs for tooling, fixtures, robotic cells, machine tending, and automated equipment.




• Serve as a technical lead on projects while collaborating with controls, electrical, programming, and manufacturing teams.




• Work directly with customers to understand requirements, participate in design reviews, and provide technical project updates.
