Job summary

Hendrickson in Clarksville, TN seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Technician to support production, quality, and maintenance by troubleshooting and improving processes. You will work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical equipment, and help implement new processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is required.
• Formal training in robotics, CNC controls, machining, and automation.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience required.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and 480VAC/24VDC controls.
• Fanuc and Siemens CNC troubleshooting preferred.
• 2D/3D modeling experience (AutoCAD, Creo) preferred.
• Strong MS Office, communication, and project organization.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain process capability and first pass yield; reduce scrap through root-cause corrective actions.
• Assist production and maintenance with technical issues causing downtime or unsafe conditions.
• Continual improvement of process and product quality; reduce costs.
• Help implement new/existing processes to support new products.
• Help implement new equipment, tooling, and fixtures while maintaining safety.
• Trouble shoot equipment mechanically and electrically.
• Update procedures and documentation.
• Update training materials.
