Job summary

Hendrickson seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support daily manufacturing operations, maintain and improve equipment for safety, quality, and productivity. The role will develop programs and parameters for production processes and identify process improvements.

The position also trains associates, assists with tooling evaluation and develops quality systems for new products. It aims to reduce robotic cycle times using advanced welding technology.

Qualifications

• Two years MIG welding experience preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, fluid power, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Familiar with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maximize productive time of equipment by improving reliability and repeatability of production systems.
• Coordinate and assist with equipment installation and start up.
• Assist in evaluating tooling and hardware for optimum performance by associates.
• Assist in the development of quality systems for new products and processes.
• Identify areas to improve tooling, cleanliness, operation sequences or forming consistency to increase throughput or product quality.
• Oversee tooling and suggest and implement modification to improve system productivity.
• Decrease robotic cycle times by implementing the use of advanced welding technology.
