Job summary

Hendrickson in Missouri seeks a maintenance technician to perform routine industrial maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You will assist with PM programs and part specification. Welding and fixture fabrication skills are a plus.

The role requires reading blueprints, basic math, inventory control understanding, and adherence to safety. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must have good understanding of inventory control.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have or be able to obtain a fork truck license.
• Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner.
• Ability to understand what constitutes quality products.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must pass Maintenance skill and qualification test.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches and various gauges and other tools.
• Ensure quality in every task performed.
• Perform PM as assigned.
• Uses stop the line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns.
• Performs daily duties per standards.
• Completes all maintenance work order data collection as established.
• Must perform daily 5S activities.
