Job summary

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation in Columbia, PA, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer – Automation to lead plant-wide automation projects, from scoping through startup, with external integrators or internal teams.

You will drive ROI assessments, manage capital requests, and partner with Maintenance and IT to deliver flexible automation, EOAT, UR5 robots, CNCs, and sensors to improve uptime and product mix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience with CNC, robotics, and automated systems.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs and HMIs.
• Experience programming/c troubleshooting UR5s and industrial robots (FANUC, ABB).
• Reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; strong project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation/capital projects from concept through install and startup with budget/schedule tracking.
• Identify automation opportunities and prepare cost/benefit and ROI justifications for CAPEX.
• Manage external integrators and vendors; write specs and lead design reviews.
