Job summary
Hydro Extrusions in North America is seeking a maintenance professional with 3–5 years of automation experience in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on safety, diagnostic maintenance, and the ongoing reliability of automated systems and equipment.
You will diagnose malfunctions, modify PLC logic and robot programs to optimize production, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. The position offers full-time employment at our Sidney, OH facility with opportunities for
Qualifications
- 3–5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment using automation.
- Previous maintenance experience is required.
- A high school diploma is required.
- Technical degree or equivalent technical training is required.
Responsibilities
- All safety issues are the #1 priority.
- Diagnosing malfunctions in automated systems, identifying faulty components, and repairing or replacing them efficiently.
- Programming and modifying PLC logic to optimize production processes.
- Programming and modifying robot programs to optimize production processes.
- Identifying and resolving electrical wiring, sensors, actuators, motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems issues.
- Implementing new automation technologies, software updates, and hardware upgrades.
