Hydro Extrusions in Sidney, OH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support automated production lines. You will diagnose faults, program PLCs, and adjust robot systems to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

3–5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment using automation is required.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Technical degree or equivalent training is required.
Previous maintenance experience is required.
On-site work at Sidney, OH is required.

Responsibilities

All safety issues are #1 priority.
Preventative Maintenance.
Diagnosing malfunctions in automated systems, identifying faulty components and repairing or replacing them efficiently.
PLC programming and modification.
Understanding and modifying PLC logic to adjust system behavior and optimize production processes.
Robot programming, modification and manipulation.
Understanding and modifying Robot programs to adjust system behavior and optimize production processes.
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting: identifying and resolving issues with electrical wiring, sensors, actuators, motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
System upgrades and modifications: implementing new automation technologies, software updates, and hardware upgrades to improve system functionality.
