Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, calibration, setup, and repair of equipment across production lines. The role requires PLC, Fanuc robotics, and electrical/pneumatic troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The candidate should be able to read blueprints and electrical schematics, communicate well, and work effectively in a team while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic and pneumatic prints.
• Experience with Fanuc LRMate 200iD or similar Fanuc robotics systems.
• Lift truck certification preferred or to be obtained in a reasonable timeframe.
• Strong communication skills; experience leading training is a plus.
• Able to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on equipment and instrumentation.
• Repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and robotic equipment; strong PLC knowledge required.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and pneumatic control system problems on production machinery.
• Plan, layout and install electrical and pneumatic systems for new equipment and fixtures.
• Communicate and cooperate with technicians and line associates.
• Assist with setup and tear down of packaging line and changeovers of automated pack station.
• Daily housekeeping and 5S activities.
