Job summary

PrideNow in New Jersey seeks an experienced Maintenance Electronics Technician to join our industrial maintenance team. This hands-on role requires troubleshooting complex automation systems, working with PLCs and robotics, and keeping critical production equipment running safely.

The ideal candidate holds a Journeyman Electrician certification with 5+ years in industrial electrical/electronics/PLC maintenance, plus advanced AB PLC experience, PanelView/HMI, and Fanuc robotics knowledge.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician certification with Journeyman Card.
5+ years of experience in industrial electrical/electronics/PLC maintenance.
Advanced experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (PLC-5, SLC 500, ControlLogix/ PLC 5000).
Ability to read, configure, troubleshoot, and edit ladder logic in AB PLCs.
Experience with PanelView/HMI and Fanuc robot programming.
Familiarity with 240V/480V three‑phase systems and MCCs.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical/electronic equipment across the facility.
Diagnose problems involving PLCs, HMIs, robotics, drives, and automated systems.
Read, troubleshoot, and edit ladder logic in Allen‑Bradley PLCs.
Maintain automation interfaces with other control systems.
Collaborate with machine adjusters and production personnel to resolve issues.
Support preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and output.
Use schematics and testing equipment to identify problems.
Document maintenance activities in CMMS and train team members.
