Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies in Necedah, WI, is seeking a Maintenance Automation Technician to maintain and repair production machinery and facilities. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, assist with overhauls, and support automation controls including PLCs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or an Associate degree in Industrial Electronics), plus 2+ years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of on-the-job experience.
Associate degree in Industrial Electronics is acceptable.
Proficient with basic math and electrical theory.
Licensed electrician in Wisconsin is preferred.
Experience in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair machines, equipment, vehicles, facilities and property.
Provide support in maintenance and repair of production machinery and assist with major overhauls.
Repair doors, floors, roofs and general building maintenance tasks.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical sensors in automated machinery.
Isolate malfunctions in PLCs and servo systems and maintain PLC-based controls.
Install, troubleshoot and maintain electronic systems used in industrial manufacturing.
