Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Kentucky seeks a skilled maintenance technician to perform general maintenance and repair of machines, equipment, vehicles, facilities and property, including production machinery, HVAC, and PLC-driven controls. Under supervision, you will troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.

You will assist with overhauls, install and maintain sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic controls, and perform building maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years on-the-job experience or an Associate degree in Industrial Electronics.
• Proficient with basic math and electrical theory; advanced PC computing skills; electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with transformers, power supplies, AC inverters, motion controls and sensors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of machines, equipment, vehicles, facilities and property.
• Support maintenance of production machinery and assist with major overhauls.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical sensors used in automated machinery.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electronic control systems; isolate malfunctions.
• Install and maintain electronic systems and PLCs; conduct diagnostic tests on PLC systems.
