Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of certification.
  • Intermediate knowledge required across various technical areas.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems effectively.
  • Maintain and ensure spare parts inventories.

Skills

Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment
Working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance
Demonstrated independent problem-solving capability
Ability to use PLC and HMI programming software
Understanding of 24VDC control systems
Experience with programming/troubleshooting servo and stepper motors
Ability to troubleshoot/barcode scanners and vision systems
Knowledge of warehouse maintenance safety procedures
Knowledge of operating MHE such as forklifts
Ability to work independently safely

Education

Vocational or technical certification in a related field

Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis, IN!

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

Hourly Pay: $28.30 per hour

Additional Pay: $2.00 per hour shift premium

Schedule: Third Shift: Sunday 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday - Thursday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Requirements

  • Vocational or technical certification in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience (in lieu of certification)
  • Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment (intermediate required)
  • Working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems (intermediate required)
  • Demonstrated independent problem-solving capability (intermediate required)
  • Ability to use PLC and HMI programming software, such as Allen Bradley, Ignition, and Wonderware (intermediate required)
  • Understanding of 24VDC control systems, photoelectric & proximity sensors (intermediate required)
  • Experience with programming/troubleshooting servo and stepper motors and related software (intermediate required)
  • Ability to troubleshoot/program barcode scanners and vision systems (intermediate required)
  • Knowledge of warehouse maintenance safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, fall restraint, and forklift/MHE safety (intermediate required)
  • Knowledge of operating MHE such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc. (intermediate required)
  • Ability to work independently safely, including at heights

Responsibilities

  • Ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems effectively
  • Maintain and ensure spare parts inventories
  • Participate in developing and improving maintenance policies and procedures
  • Keep maintenance areas clean and organized
  • Ensure compliance with GMP's
  • Establish work schedules meeting operational and PM demands
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Participate actively in safety and lean programs, supporting Ryder culture
