Job summary

Aerotek in Toledo, OH is hiring 1st shift Automation Maintenance Technicians to maintain robotic welding systems, ped welders, and related equipment. The role is contract to hire with a 6:00 AM start, moving to a 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM 2-2-3 schedule as staffing grows.

This is a fully onsite position in Toledo, OH. You will perform mechanical maintenance most of the time and electrical maintenance the rest, troubleshoot up to 480V, bend conduit, pull wire, wire control panels, and weld with MIG.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance on robotic welding systems.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance expertise.
• Able to troubleshoot up to 480V and wire control panels.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Welding experience with MIG and stick preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on robotic welding equipment, ped welders, conveyors, and welding cells.
• Conduct mechanical maintenance ~60-70% and electrical maintenance ~30-40%.
• Maintain pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, motors, valves, contactors, and air cylinders.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues up to 480V and wire 480V lines.
• Pull wire, bend conduit, and perform control panel wiring.
• Read blueprints and schematics; weld using MIG and fabrication as needed.
• Perform building maintenance tasks.
