Job Title: Day Shift Maintenance Technician - 2-2-3

Shift/Pay/Additional Information:

  • Shift: 4AM - 2PM (7 days a week until fully staffed)
    • Will move to 5AM - 5PM 2-2-3 Schedule
  • Pay: $32.00/hr. - $38.00/hr.
    • $1.50 Shift Premium
    • 1.5x after 40 hours
  • CURRENT TAKE HOME PAY:
    • 40 Hours - $82,160.00
    • 30 Hours @ 1.5x PLUS $1.50/hr. - $92,430.00
    • TOTAL NET PAY - $174,590.00
  • PTO - Skilled trades get 80 hours (prorated based on hire date) for their first two years, and then when they hit the year of their 3rd anniversary PTO increases by 8 hours that year and every year

Job Description

This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of automated production and welding equipment on the night shift. You will work primarily on mechanical systems with significant electrical responsibilities, ensuring robotic welding cells, secondary equipment, and facility infrastructure operate safely and efficiently. The position offers a hands‑on environment where you will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support continuous production in an automotive stamping facility.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic welding equipment, pedestal welders, manual clinch machines, conveyor equipment, and welding cells.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, with approximately 60–70% of work focused on mechanical tasks and 30–40% on electrical tasks.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot secondary equipment including pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, motors, valves, contactors, motor starters, cylinders, and air cylinders.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting up to 480V single‑phase and three‑phase systems, including setting up and running power to 480V lines.
  • Pull wire, bend conduit, and assist with wiring of control panels as needed for equipment installations and repairs.
  • Use a voltmeter daily to test, verify, and diagnose electrical circuits and components.
  • Perform MIG welding and fabrication, with some stick welding, to repair or modify equipment and components.
  • Support general building maintenance activities to keep the facility safe, functional, and in good working order.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation to guide troubleshooting and repair work.
  • Work at heights up to 40 feet using appropriate equipment and safety practices.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on Fanuc robots and related automation systems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance technicians, production staff, and supervisors to minimize downtime and support production goals.
  • Document maintenance work performed and communicate equipment status and issues to relevant team members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
