Job summary

BD in Sandy, UT, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair automated production equipment, supporting safety, quality, and uptime goals. You will work with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, supporting changeovers, and collaborating with the Machine Shop.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of industrial maintenance or automation maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent with technical certification or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and improve automated production equipment to meet safety, quality and uptime goals.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete maintenance documentation.
• Repair conveyors, valves, filters, sensors, and other production components; support changeovers.
• Mentor backup personnel and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work independently or in teams while complying with safety and quality requirements.
