Job summary

BD is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Sandy, UT, to operate high-speed automated equipment, monitor quality, and perform setup/changeovers on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Requires HS Diploma or GED, good dexterity, and 1–2 years manufacturing experience preferred. On-site facilities include gym and cafeteria, with potential for professional growth.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent experience/GED - Not Required
• Effective communication skills (English), basic math skills, and interpersonal skills
• One to two years of previous manufacturing/production experience is strongly preferred
• Must also have good dexterity and coordination

Responsibilities

• Operates multiple processes on high speed automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Participates in all equipment changeovers or set-ups.
• Monitors assigned processes to ensure high quality production.
• Removes defective product from the automated or semi-automated processes.
• Maintains equipment and a clean area by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment.
