Carbel, now part of Arvato, is a fast-growing 3PL provider with a nationwide distribution network. The Maintenance Technician role supports operations in a high-volume distribution center, troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment to maximize uptime.

Join a collaborative team focused on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. The position requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance and bilingual English/Spanish skills, with a Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–12:00 AM schedule.

Qualifications

• Technical or technological degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field OR equivalent hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or specialized equipment maintenance (warehouse, production, or automated equipment preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and optimize complex automated machinery and material handling equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, motors, and drives
• Maintain automated labeling / print & apply systems
• Service Jolly machines and associated boiler/steam equipment
• Diagnose sensor, photo-eye, and communication faults
• Perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE)
• Respond to equipment stoppages and restore production flow quickly
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams to identify failures
• Replace components including belts, rollers, bearings, motors, and pneumatic parts
• Document repairs, parts usage, and downtime causes
• Identify recurring failures and recommend reliability improvements
• Follow lockout/tagout and all safety procedures
• Schedule Monday - Friday 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM
