Job summary

Viking Group, Inc. is seeking a cell/operator to support a production cell in Michigan. You will review faults on HMI screens, communicate issues to Maintenance Technicians, and rotate through the assembly to assist team members as needed.

You will perform maintenance tasks to optimize production, set up and adjust automated equipment, and ensure quality standards for sprinkler components. This role involves lifting up to 40 lbs occasionally and operating hand tools and a forklift when required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting an assembly cell and production optimization.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs with occasional exertion.
• Adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review faults on HMI screens and follow steps for fault recovery.
• Communicate issues with Maintenance Technicians to relay equipment problems.
• Rotate throughout the assembly and assist each cell member as needed.
• Perform maintenance and other tasks to optimize production.
• Set up, adjust, and qualify automated equipment as required.
• Inspect and package sprinklers to Viking quality standards.
• Complete documentation for Quality and Production Planning.
