Job summary

Avancez Assembly in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment in a fast-paced environment. This role supports manufacturing goals by keeping lines up and running safely.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, PLCs, electrical systems, and reading schematics. You’ll work with minimal supervision, follow lockout/tagout, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred in electrical, robotic, mechanical, or fabrication.
• 2+ years in a production environment with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, PLCs, electrical systems, and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and line-start activities.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Analyze machine performance and implement improvements.
• Document downtime and report continuous improvement opportunities.
