Job summary

Angstrom NA LLC is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our production floor in Michigan. You will troubleshoot and repair robot welding cells, CNC HMC mills, SPMs, compressors, and press assembly equipment, working with limited supervision to keep lines running.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults, document actions, and support continuous improvement to boost OEE.

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent required.
Hands-on troubleshooting with CNC HMC mills, robotic welding systems, and plant equipment.
Industrial maintenance training in mechanical/hydraulic systems or equivalent experience.
Comfort with electrical circuits, sensors, PLCs; interpret symptoms and act decisively.
Ability to train and lead team members as needed.
Knowledge of MIOSHA safety regulations; commitment to safe work practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation.
Strong time management and reliable work ethic; good communication.

Responsibilities

Execute maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preventive work on equipment including robot welding cells, CNC HMC mills, SPMs, compressors, press assembly—working independently with limited guidance.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues quickly to reduce downtime.
Complete machine repairs and rebuilds per the scheduled line-up and document all work performed with clear documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, processes, and overall plant OEE; promote teamwork and cooperation across the shop.
