Job summary

Ingram Micro, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations in a highly automated distribution environment, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance of facility infrastructure and conveyors.

You will oversee preventive and predictive programs and manage a team of maintenance professionals. The ideal candidate has deep experience in automated warehouses or manufacturing settings, strong PLC/electromechanical skills, and a proven track record in Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent combo accepted.
• 7+ years maintenance/reliability in DC/warehouse/manufacturing.
• 4+ years of leadership overseeing maintenance technicians.
• Experience leading maintenance in highly automated environments.
• Strong knowledge of conveyors and automated material handling equipment.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial controls.
• Proven preventive and predictive maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and facility infrastructure.
• Ability to analyze maintenance data to improve reliability and performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• OSHA safety and environmental compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance for automated distribution systems, conveyors, and facility infrastructure.
• Coach and develop a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
• Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive reliability initiatives to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, controls, and automation issues.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and optimization of conveyors and equipment.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships for maintenance operations.
• Prepare labor, material, and project cost estimates.
• Partner with operations and engineering to align priorities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and building codes.
• Analyze maintenance data to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma and root-cause problem-solving initiatives.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and other facility systems.
• Support capital projects and infrastructure improvements.
• Identify sustainability initiatives to reduce energy use.
