You will manage a team of maintenance professionals, drive preventive and predictive programs, and partner with vendors to optimize uptime. The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration across operations, engineering, and leadership to align maintenance with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of maintenance, facilities, or reliability experience in distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or automated environment.
• 4+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance technicians or technical teams.
• Experience leading maintenance operations in highly automated environments.
• Strong knowledge of conveyor systems and automated material handling equipment.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial controls.
• Proven success implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for complex equipment.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and contractor services.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and facility infrastructure.
• Ability to analyze maintenance data and drive improvements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work flexible schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance for automated distribution systems, conveyors, material handling equipment, scanning systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Coach and develop a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors to meet safety and operational goals.
• Develop, implement, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive reliability initiatives to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, controls, and automation issues.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, replacement, and optimization of conveyor systems and automated equipment.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Develop labor, material, and project cost estimates for repairs and upgrades.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership to align priorities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, building codes, and safety standards.
• Analyze maintenance metrics and data to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and root-cause problem-solving initiatives.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and facility systems maintenance.
• Support facility planning, capital projects, and expansions.
• Identify and implement sustainability initiatives.
