Job summary

NTN Driveshaft, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic systems on the plant floor.

You will work with PLCs, servo motors and related equipment, reading schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure smooth operations. The role requires hands-on maintenance, the ability to repair without diagrams, and adherence to safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial automation with PLCs and robotics is required.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and drawings (Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic).
• Experience with various electrical tools, gauges and test equipment.
• Ability to work overtime and different shifts including weekends if needed.
• Knowledge of safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, & upgrade electrical systems including PLCs and Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi and Fanuc equipment within the plant.
• Receive wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications and instructions for repair, installation and inspection work.
• Repair equipment/components without diagrams when required.
• Plan and perform work with thorough knowledge of electrical theory, wiring specs and materials.
• Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and instructions for scheduled and emergency repairs.
• Install, repair, modification and preventative maintenance of electrical units and controls.
• Adhere to safety regulations and report hazards.
