Job summary

NSK is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, electrical systems, and building utilities. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, documentation, and supporting modifications to improve reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams, manage spare parts, and supervise contractors for utilities and HVAC tasks.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of hands-on maintenance experience required; 6–8 years preferred.
• Experience managing contractor work for facility utilities and life safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct problems on production equipment, building systems, and utility infrastructure.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on a wide range of production equipment including electrical systems and components.
• Submit change requests for equipment or process modifications, with supporting documentation showing improvements in reliability, quality, or performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, repair logs, and spare parts records.
• Develop and manage a spare parts inventory for components critical to plant operations.
• Work closely with the technical team including maintenance and engineering staff to enhance technical knowledge and problem-solving capabilities.
• Investigate recurring or chronic issues, implement root cause solutions, and contribute to preventive maintenance strategies.
• Participate in the evaluation, installation, and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades.
• Coordinate and supervise outside contractors performing service or maintenance on building utilities, fire suppression systems, HVAC, and related infrastructure.
