Job summary

Toshiba International Corporation in Houston is looking for an Electrical/Computer Engineering Intern to help develop standard micro PLC and HMI programs that accompany our hardware solutions.

You will also create training content—YouTube tutorials and PowerPoint modules—for internal teams and customers—while assisting with hardware testing, troubleshooting, and program validation, and supporting engineering with clear technical materials.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Knowledge of programming languages is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test standard micro PLC and HMI programs for packaged automation products.
• Create HMI screens, templates, and documentation.
• Produce training materials, including YouTube videos and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with hardware testing, troubleshooting, and program validation.
• Support engineering teams with updates, documentation, and customer-focused technical materials.
