Job summary

Toshiba International Corporation in Houston, TX seeks an Applications Engineer Intern to serve as the technical expert for customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales regarding design, application and performance of Toshiba Industrial products.

Interns gain hands-on engineering experience, work with engineers, and develop skills under guidance while supporting visitors and site operations. This program provides real-world learning in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in Electrical Engineering program at an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work 40hrs per week at our office located in Northwest Houston, TX.
• Must be a team player and able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Gain engineering experience by providing detailed technology support to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales.
• Provide technical support and product trouble-shooting to customers.
• Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment.
• Develop skills under supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.
• Assist with visitor management and reception duties as part of site operations.
