Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking technicians for an automation installation project in Spokane, WA. The role is a temporary, project-based assignment through the end of November, with shifts on AM and PM schedules and a 4:30 AM start for the early shift.

You will assist with installation, assembly, and setup of equipment and automation systems, working closely with engineers and project leads to complete tasks safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous technician experience required.
• Mechanical or technical experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read basic instructions or installation diagrams.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in an active installation environment.
• Strong attention to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to fully clear a background check.
• Completion of required training certifications.
• Successful completion of client onboarding requirements.
• Valid government-issued ID.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with installation and setup of conveyors, robotics systems, machinery, and related equipment.
• Performing mechanical assembly and disassembly of equipment.
• Installing components, brackets, and mechanical parts as required.
• Using hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks.
• Working with engineers and project leads to follow installation plans.
• Troubleshooting basic mechanical issues during installation.
• Ensuring equipment is properly secured and installed according to specifications.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Following all safety procedures and project guidelines.
