Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring Technicians to support a large-scale automation installation project in Washington State. The role is a short-term, project-based assignment with 6 openings and shifts AM/PM from 4:30 AM to 12:00 AM.

Techs will assist with installation, assembly, and setup of conveyors, robotics, and equipment, using hand and power tools, reading diagrams, and following safety procedures in a dynamic site environment.

Qualifications

Previous technician experience required.
Mechanical or technical experience preferred.
Experience using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read basic instructions or installation diagrams.
Ability to lift equipment and work in an active installation environment.
Strong attention to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Assisting with installation and setup of conveyors, robotics systems, machinery, and related equipment.
Performing mechanical assembly and disassembly of equipment.
Installing components, brackets, and mechanical parts as required.
Using hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks.
Following installation plans with engineers and project leads.
Troubleshooting basic mechanical issues during installation.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Following all safety procedures and project guidelines.
