Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring technicians to support a large-scale automation installation project in Washington State. The position involves assisting with installation, assembly, and setup of conveyors, robotics, machinery, and related equipment, working closely with engineers and project leads to meet schedules.

Ideal candidates have prior technician experience, are comfortable using hand and power tools, and can read installation diagrams.

Qualifications

• Previous technician experience required.
• Mechanical or technical experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read basic instructions or installation diagrams.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in an active installation environment.
• Strong attention to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with installation and setup of conveyors, robotics systems, machinery, and related equipment
• Performing mechanical assembly and disassembly of equipment
• Installing components, brackets, and mechanical parts as required
• Using hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
• Working with engineers and project leads to follow installation plans
• Troubleshooting basic mechanical issues during installation
• Ensuring equipment is properly secured and installed according to specifications
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Following all safety procedures and project guidelines
