Job summary

Caliberr Staffing seeks a Machine Operator to oversee automated molding and trimming processes in a high‑tech automotive interior production environment. You will ensure machines run smoothly, maintain quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

You will handle precision measurements, adhere to strict safety standards, and collaborate with Plant Manager and QA to meet daily output targets and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in high-speed industrial manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions.
• Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers and gauges.
• Demonstrates precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plastic injection molding and automated soft-trim machinery to ensure output meets technical requirements.
• Perform start-up and shutdown sequences and minor process adjustments to maintain production flow.
• Extract finished components and perform trimming or finishing as needed.
• Use calipers, gauges, and templates to conduct visual and dimensional quality checks.
• Maintain accurate records of production volumes and quality results.
• Adhere to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Keep work area tidy and organized using 5S methods.
• Assist maintenance with routine cleaning and clearing minor jams.
• Report quality concerns or equipment malfunctions to leadership promptly.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager, Supervisors, QA and Maintenance to reach output targets.
• Maintain reliable attendance and be available for scheduled overtime.
• Support various general tasks to improve overall production efficiency.
