Henry Ford Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist in Detroit, MI to coordinate and facilitate operations in automation, waste management, regulatory readiness, and inventory control. You will support pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care in a busy hospital environment.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of inpatient pharmacy experience (or equivalent), Michigan licensure, and strong communication skills.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two (2) years of inpatient pharmacy technician experience OR two (2) years of experience as a pharmacy technician in other settings.
• Valid State of MI pharmacy technician licensure.
• Basic PC skills to perform job functions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability for on-call system support.
• Ability to work designated shifts, including weekends and holidays.

As a Pharmacy Technician Specialist, you will coordinate and facilitate operations in key pharmacy areas, including automation, pharmaceutical waste management, regulatory readiness, and inventory control. Your work will directly support pharmacy, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless and efficient patient care. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our pharmacy services.

• At least two (2) years of experience as an inpatient pharmacy technician (for inpatient setting) OR two (2) years of experience as a pharmacy technician for all others.
• Valid State of MI pharmacy technician licensure.

Preferred Qualifications
