Job summary

Plaid is seeking a TechOps professional to own and improve critical infrastructure used by thousands of employees. You will manage Okta configurations, automate endpoint provisioning, and build scripts to reduce manual work.

The role emphasizes security, IaC, and automation to keep our internal systems reliable as we scale. You will collaborate with Security, Engineering, and People teams, and participate in on-call rotation while maintaining hybrid work model with office days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting a large fleet of macOS devices.
• Experience with mobile device management for Apple devices (Iru, Intune, Workspace One).
• Experience with configuration as code, such as Terraform.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting.
• Experience leveraging Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools to improve solutions.
• Experience using and managing major central business and development systems.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
• Experience with Slack.
• Experience with Linear, Jira, or other ticketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve Okta configuration, including lifecycle policies, access reviews, MFA enforcement, and Workflows automation.
• Manage endpoint configuration via Iru or Kandji, with a policy-as-code mindset and version-controlled configurations.
• Build and maintain automation to reduce repetitive support burden.
• Evaluate, deploy, and support AI tooling to improve team productivity.
• Manage SaaS procurement and renewals for the systems the team owns.
• Own and support company-wide SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Linear, Slack, and Okta.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, and GTM teams on cross-area projects.
• Work from the office 3 days per week.
