Job summary

Bolt seeks an IT Operations Engineer to own core IT systems and act as the second line of support for complex issues. You’ll drive automation using low-code platforms like Okta Workflows and Zapier, and help refine our security and SaaS management.

You’ll handle system administration, SaaS governance, and IT security to keep the hardware and software stack reliable, scalable, and secure, enabling Bolt teams to work efficiently. startup experience and scripting basics are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Technology, or related field, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high IT system performance and user support.
• Adopt an automation-first mindset and build solutions when appropriate.
• Provide a frictionless experience for users with varying technical skills.
• Resolve tickets as the second line of troubleshooting.
• Manage and streamline our tech stack from identity to endpoint (Okta, Google Workspace, JumpCloud, Intune, etc.).
• Write documentation, log changes, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Develop business continuity procedures and maintain data backups.
• Contribute to productivity and employee satisfaction by maintaining a stable IT environment.
