Job summary

Roche is seeking an Automation Field Trainer to join the Solutions Training Team. You will train laboratory staff before go-live on new automation instruments and provide ongoing training, collaborating with the Support Network, Marketing, and Sales to tailor programs for key accounts.

As a field training subject matter expert, you will create training plans, support pre-sales and post-sales activities, and travel regularly within the US (some international travel).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or work experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in the diagnostics industry or relevant field.
• Advanced knowledge in automation systems and IT in laboratory settings.

Responsibilities

• Conducts tailored training for Roche solutions, on-site and remote, including installation and maintenance support.
• Acts as training liaison and technical expert for consultative and administrative matters.
• Develops curricula with leadership and account teams to meet technical training needs.
• Designs training activities and gathers feedback to improve materials and outcomes.
• Maintain training standards, manage inventory and expenses, and document service reports.
