Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Technical Support Specialist (TSS)/Trainer to deliver hands-on training in our classroom and training lab, describe methodologies, demonstrate platform use, and prepare exercises to ensure instrument function.

You'll support customers by phone and email, offer expert troubleshooting, document interactions per USFDA guidelines, and coordinate with field service or Product Support as needed; willingness to travel to customer sites and training

Qualifications

• BSMT(ASCP) or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years in transfusion laboratory environment.
• Experience with IH automation including gel platforms.
• Experience with Bio-Rad IH automation and reagents preferred.
• Availability for after-hours on-call (approx. one week every 6 weeks).
• Availability to travel to customer sites and Bio-Rad Training Centers if required.

Responsibilities

• Train instrument users and software in dedicated classroom and training lab.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and guidance to customers by phone or email.
• Contribute to training materials and ensure alignment with USFDA guidelines.
• Coordinate with field service engineers or Product Support as needed.
• Support Training Manager on product and staff topics.
