Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is hiring a Field Service Engineering Manager to lead a customer-focused engineering services team in Holland, MI. This full-time on-site role oversees daily operations, budgeting, and service delivery to meet timing, cost, and quality targets.

You will drive coaching, training, and performance, manage the group P&L, support quotes and sales initiatives, and build strong customer relationships while traveling up to 35% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of customer management experience.
• Strong leadership and team coaching abilities.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Automation, mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct Engineering Services operations and costs.
• Lead daily operations and resource planning to meet customer requirements.
• Review financials and performance data to drive improvements.
• Build strong customer relationships and support sales initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to improve products.
• Oversee budgeting and P&L management.
• Travel up to 35% may be required.
