Job summary

Kids for the Future in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Automation Field Service Technician to install and troubleshoot custom PLC and HMI designs at customer sites. You will be involved in design phase testing and work across multiple software platforms.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in related field, 3+ years in Siemens/Allen-Bradley programming, and willingness to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years in related field and industry.
• 3+ years in Siemens and/or Allen Bradley programming.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot PLC/HMI hardware and software at customer sites.
• Coordinate with Automation Engineer to optimize software design on site.
• Participate in planned testing with technical staff on site.
• Perform service and file complete service reports after visits.
