Job summary

Amada Nashville is seeking a field service technician to support customers with Amada Press Brakes and related machinery. You will assist with installation, service, training, and software applications while traveling within the assigned territory.

The role requires reading drawings, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems, and using testing tools such as volt/ohm meters and oscilloscopes. Strong English communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

A 4 yr degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2 yr degree with related work experience preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Proficient with hand tools and testing equipment such as volt/ohm meters and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

Support customers with Amada Press Brakes installation, service, training and software usage.
Troubleshoot and repair multi-system equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components.
Prepare daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
Travel within assigned territories for on-site support and training.
Communicate effectively in English and provide excellent customer service.
